Dodgers could use a 3rd baseman that hits. But I don't know if I want to read all those big game choke articles that come with him.

Boras got greedy, back to NYY would be my guess, and for less than they offered in an extension.

I don't think Boston will pursue him, but if they unload Manny and Lowell, A-Rod at third and Bonds in left for one year might be fun to see.

the saddest point of all might be that, as good a deal as the yankees offered, A-rod will still make more in the open market.

Who are the top prospects?
Boston, LAA, LAD, Cubs, SF...

I think the Boston fans made their position clear - he's not wanted, not for the apparent asking price anyway. A season like he had this year would erase a lot of memories (heck, we tolerate Manny!), but still - give me 2 of Mike Lowell and a few million to spare over him any day! My guess is either LA (either team) or back to NYY.

I hope the Yanks get the Mets third baseman. (david wright) that'd be cool. he's well-rounded as a player. I think he's a better fit.

And...they're gonna go after Santana over on the Twins. All is well in Yankee-land...believe it or not.

The Dodgers need a 3rd baseman and that 3rd baseman should be A-Rod...
If you want a World Series you got to pay.....and the sales of A-Rod jerseys would more than pay back his salary.....The Dodgers( though I love them !) need to stop grabbing the pennies and missing the dollars....I've been waiting for nearly 20 years
it's time....Andy Pettit wouldn't be such a bad idea either....
